At the end of a long day
When everyone has had their say
At end of a long walk
When you've heard everyone's talk
Child, look to God
Like a loving Father, for you He does applaud
For you are special in His sight
And know that when you follow Him
You are in the right
So at the end of your walk
And the end of your day
Look to Jesus
For through Him,
God's love is on Display
This poem is dedicated to my friend Phil Behr. Phil sat across from me and said that his favorite verses of Scripture were Romans 8:38-39. When I asked him why, he said that it is a constant reminder that God loves him.
