Leadership value #2: Credibility

Credibility is the foundation of leadership.

YOU have to believe in you -but people have to believe in you too.  And the absolutely best way to accomplish this is by doing what you say you will do.

You have to remember there are a lot of jaded people out there, who have been disappointed with immoral leaders and poor institutional leadership. And sure, most hold leaders to a higher standard than themselves.  But in the end, you are out in front.  People have placed their trust in you.  

So the Bottom line is --If you want people who willingly follow you instead of having to follow you...then it is time to build up your Credibility.
